Just a few hours ago, we reported that DICE has turned off the Battlefield 1 servers for the game’s big November update that will add Operation Campaigns to the mix of game modes. Well, the Battlefield 1 update is now live!
Clocking in at 3.6GB on the PlayStation 4 (and 2.7GB on PC), Operation Campaigns is the new addition, but there’s a lot of in-game tweaks, and gameplay balance fixes as well, which is the norm when DICE releases a new patch.
For now, the Battlefield 1 update notes have yet to be released, but based on the CTE (Community Test Environment) patch notes for the November update, a lot of the changes seem to be gameplay fixes or refinements.
The big November update is now live on PC, with players on the BF1 subreddit sharing some of the (unofficial) new additions and tweaks.
Once the full patch notes are released, we’ll be sure to update the post ASAP. Don’t forget, the BF1 patch is out, but the game is still offline. For the schedule of when it’ll go back up again, click here.
In other Battlefield 1 news, there’s going to be a free map that will be available to everyone later this month! We also posted about the cut features from the franchise, which is a must-see for Battlefield fans. Finally, we also posted the contents of Battlepacks Revision 59 that some people might find useful to see what the can exchange for scraps.
