
The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Edition could be followed up by an N64 Classic Mini, with the official Nintendo website dropping what could be a big hint its coming.
It’s been widely expected that Nintendo could follow the SNES Classic Mini with an N64 Classic Mini.
So far the Japanese gaming giant have released two classic consoles - the NES Classic Mini and the SNES Classic Mini.
These are their first two home consoles, so - going in chronological order - the next up for the Classic Mini treatment would be the Nintendo 64.
Ninty’s third home console has a special places in many gamers’ hearts, with the system home to a number of all-time greats.
And Nintendo could have given the best indication yet that an N64 Classic Mini is in the works.
The SNES Classic Mini Reddit page has discovered something that has got gamers very excited.
On Nintendo.co.uk there is a handy list of 19 online game manuals for the Nintendo 64.
This number of games is a similar amount to the number of titles loaded up on the NES Classic Mini and SNES Classic Mini.
The N64 games with downloadable manuals include Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Donkey Kong 64.
It’s left fans wondering whether this is the selection of games that will be included in the N64 Classic Mini.
On Reddit one fan posted: “If this is true I'm happy for a N64 classic.”
While another wrote: “Looks pretty legit and honestly a good selection.”
And one added: “This list looks pretty solid for a N64 Classic. I'm probably more interesting to see what they do on the hardware side.”
